In Case You Missed Episode 4 Of Our TV Series- Float Fest ’16

New Houston Music Outlet takes to San Marcos, TX for 2016’s Float Fest. The 2-day music festival was a fun filled, sun charged weekend that included dope music performances by the San Marcos River. Performances included: the boss, Miami rapper, Rick Ross, Rock band KONGOS, Electronic music sensation, Santigold, and the legendary Bone Thugs, to name a few.

In this episode, The Outlet interviews with Laura Patino of the Electronic duo, Holiday Mountain who graced Float Fest with their wacky, yet catchy ‘Como Te Llamas’, among other songs from their first project. In the interview, Laura delves into her ideas on issues plaguing females, sexuality, and eloquently tells her own stories of personal struggles with the two while growing up.

We ran into Lindsey Belk, a happy man who sells ice cream by the San Marcos River. Belk is the owner of Rhea’s Ice Cream. He gave us a little history lesson on the origins of his shop.

Popularized by their hit song, ‘Come With Me Now’, which has featured on numerous commercials in the US, band KONGOS rocked the stage along with Mo Gordon doing a mash up of the Beatles’ ‘Come Together’. Along with Gordon’s vocals, the mash up was a unique mesh of The Beatles, Southern Rock, and Dr. Dre’s ‘Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang’.

This episode is wrapped up with a performance by legendary Hip-Hop group, Bone Thugs n Harmony. As a beautiful sun set on concert goers, the group performed their classic,‘Crossroads’ in memory of the fallen.
