Houston, Texas: Playing in front of a packed House of Blues, Aussie indie band, Eliza & The Delusionals gave a very spirited performance. Opening for the Silversun Pickups, the show was a shoegaze dream. The band shows great chemistry onstage; each member blending their sound almost perfectly to create an orchestra of sound to get your fists thumping. They gave their performance their all. Houston saw guitars flailing onstage as rhythmic basslines and shredding solos penetrated every corner of the hall. Frontwoman, Eliza, added a lovely touch of color to each song via her vibrant stage antics and vocals. The height of their Houston performance, well, each song was a high point for their Houston fans. Many in the crowd knew at least half of their songs verbatim. Towards the end of their set, Eliza & The Delusionals dished out “Just Exist” which was quite the treat.

“Just Exist” is the bands’ U.S debut single which has amassed over a million streams on SiriusXM’s defining alternative rock station, Alt Nation, and for a good reason. The song is just hypnotizing, lulling you with a sweet, almost nostalgic, melancholic feeling very reminiscent of some 90s alternative powerhouse bands. Look below for more pictures from their Houston show. If by chance you didn’t catch them in Houston, their tour is raging on through March and April. Austin and El Paso tour stops are in March and you can head to their website now to RSVP.
