Houston rap group, High Elements dropped their mixtape, ‘Visions’. Stream the tape here. ‘Visions’ is a throwback, bearing a purposefully 90s, vintage sound with addition of moving boombap instrumentals. The group starts its first two tracks, ‘HE to the 5th’ and ‘Doomsday’ bearing instrumentals from DOOM and RZA of the Golden era. Sonically, the project has room for improvement. This being one out of many future releases from HE, this group has plenty of room to grow and mature their sound quality; as the message and passion is there. Just listen.
