“Ha! I’ve seen it” or have you? Can’t figure out what you want to do some weekends? Well this show will definitely bring some excitement to the big screen. At the historical River Oaks Theatre, one weekend out of the month, our weekends are filled with terror and horror, the Rocky Horror Picture Show that is.  A live movie and show are held only on selective Saturdays at midnight and I can guarantee you will never experience a show like this one.

In this epic reenactment, sweethearts Brad (Cody Hofer) and Janet (Victoria Goodman), stuck with a flat tire during a storm discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (played by Johnny Lessard), a very exceptional scientist. As their immaculateness is compromised, Brad and Janet meet a house full of wild characters including a rocking biker (played by Kyle Vonbryant) and a creepy butler (played by Michael Brophy). Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky”, (played by Chocolate Thunder) yes that is what they call him.

If you love Rocky Horror or even if you’ve never seen it,  this is an experience for the books.  This isn’t a show you can put off until the next time, with only selective showing, the seats are filled as soon as the doors open. When can you go see this crazy show, you ask? Well your wish has just been granted! The special anniversary show is coming soon!
