The 60-minute documentary documents 8 upcoming, Houston emcees who rocked our Houston showcase last October titled “Outlet Live 2”. These young artists take viewers on a journey through the side of the Houston music scene you don’t always get to hear about. The documentary details the personal conversations and performances of these artists and Houston’s connection to their work.

Featured in the new documentary are artists whose music we’ve been covering on our blog. From Isis Ohui explaining her name choice, to P.Plus painting Houston’s ever-changing landscape, all the way to Cypher the Avatar’s predictions on an eventual collapse of society, the new documentary is an insight into just a few of the creative minds shaping Houston’s new music culture.
