[Watch Now] John Ibe Drops New Visual For, "Envy" Off Of "Obstructed Environments"

Rapper John Ibe has donned an orange jumpsuit. Why you ask? This comes only in light of his new music video for “Envy“. In the new visual, we see a fictional news report about shots fired at a fictitious 711, only to see Ibe being taken into custody a few seconds later by SWAT team members. The video concept was pretty comical, as we find out that the reason John got locked up was for assassinating what appears to be the image of president elect Trump. No laughing matter, John stays on his flow, bar-for-bar. His fierce deliveries and turn of phrases are a nice match with the well put together visuals we see on the new work.

The Houston emcee caused an uproar when it was officially announced that he became the new OGG signee, OG Maco’s label. OG Maco‘s impact on this young artists music can be audibly heard as Maco leaves his seemingly trademark cries all throughout the track which only help to build the relentless energy of this track.
