Late December of 2015, The Outlet announced that it would be holding its very first annual Viewer’s Choice Award. Each artist posted to the site was entered into the polls and the city of Houston made its opinion known on who should be Artist of the Year. It was a close race as two H-Town emcee’s came out neck and neck; Chris Nero and SVN, both of whom have had their music featured. SVN took to 1st place, tallying top in the polls with Chris Nero coming in second. Congrats to these guys. The Outlet didn’t tell SVN he had won and contacted him to meet with team. This is what went down:
