Artisan Music Group

“”AMG” stands for ARTISAN MUSIC GROUP, they are a music collective from HOUSTON Texas with a quite unique style of their own.”

Punk kids from “Fortghanistan” (Fort Bend County) found friendship as well business ethics and talent amongst each other in order to form this gradually rising conglomerate. Founder Justin Ali Black is known for his quite conscious and recreational sound in rap, in a way he’s formed a new sound to bring to Houston’s underground hip hop music scene. Along with other artist such as Pharo Saki, Bishop Guru etc. As for those members who don’t partake in the lyrical aspects they take part in musical production as music engineers (not to be confused with “producers”) bringing their visions to life in forms of melodies, bass, and other musical tones. Corresponding altogether making the ultimate effort and orchestrating vibrant new sounds. Definitely a collective Houston should keep their eyes on, AMG is looking to make some noise.

Check out this sick track by Justin Ali Black produced by AMG’s Pharo Saki from Justin’s album, Filodoxies, also featured below.

Hear, What Tries Mens’ Souls by Bishop Guru from earlier this year. Bishop Guru is an AMG lyricist.

Pharo Saki dropped this heavy joint titled A Pimp’s Blues which features a memorable feature from AMG’s Bishop Guru.
